Many users have come forward with the error that the Ubotie keyboard not working properly. The number of errors is too high to be ignored.
If you are also facing an issue with your Ubotie keyboard it is locked and you can’t type anything, and your hunt for a solution has brought you here, you have reached the perfect place. In this blog, we are going to help you out with 5 ways that can help resolve the error instantly!
Sounds good? Well, then, let’s get started!
How to Fix Ubotie Keyboard Not Working?
There can be multiple reasons behind any external device malfunctioning on a PC. Sometimes the issue may lie with the device itself, while sometimes, the point of connection is the culprit.
Similarly, there are multiple reasons for the Ubotie keyboard as well. Fortunately, all those issues are resolvable. Here are 5 ways to fix the Ubotie keyboard not working properly –
Fix #1 – Check the Bluetooth Connectivity
Unlike other adapter-based wireless keyboards, the Ubotie is a Bluetooth keyboard that you can instantly connect to in just a few easy steps.
If the keyboard is used with a single device, i.e., your personal computer, it connects every time it comes into the range and is on. However, many users have shared that they use a single keyboard on multiple devices like their professional laptops, home computers, etc. In such cases, auto-detection might not work properly.
It is because every Bluetooth device only searches for the last paired device. So if you are trying to use the keyboard after using it on another device, check the connectivity.
To connect the device properly, follow these steps –
Step 1 – First, open the quick toggle settings from the bottom right corner of your desktop and turn on your device’s Bluetooth from the available toggle.
Step 2 – Now that your PC’s Bluetooth is working, shift your focus to the device. On your Ubotie keyboard, press and hold the Fn and C keys until there is a blinking light. This light indicates that it is in pairing mode.
Step 3 – Go to the Bluetooth menu on your device and pair it with the keyboard.
Make sure the connection is established properly, as many times, users face issues in connecting the device in the first place. Keeping a check on batteries is a good measure to take in case you have doubts about it.
Fix #2 – Turn Off the Sticky Keys, Toggle buttons, and Filter Switches
On the Ubotie keyboard, you get a lot of multipurpose keys. That is because the form factor of the device is small, and the functionality that it aims to provide is more than it can manage in the size.
Many users have shared that the Ubotie keyboard keys are not responding properly to the commands. Some keys have no impact, while others are sluggish. Such situations may arise due to multiple uses of single keys. To troubleshoot the issue, turn off the toggle, sticky, and filter keys to see if the keyboard is working properly or if there is a considerable error.
To turn off these keys, follow these steps –
Step 1: Press Windows+U to open the accessibility settings.
Step 2: Open keyboard settings from the available options.
Step 3: Toggle the switch next to the Sticky, Toggle, and Filter keys to Off.
Fix #3 – Update Ubotie Keyboard Drivers
The last but effective way to handle the error on Windows is to check for driver updates. Sometimes a device such as an external keyboard may malfunction due to outdated drivers. These drivers are so crucial that they can even cause the Ubotie keyboard to stop working or not typing letters.
The core reason behind your keyboard or any other PC drivers getting outdated and causing trouble is the method used to update them. They are never regularly updated as the entire process is manual. Here’s how the manual method looks –
Step 1 – Press Windows + R to open the run search.
Step 2 – Use the command devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
Step 3 – In the Device Manager, click the Keyboard category and spot your keyboard. Right-click on it.
Step 4 – From the menu available, click on Update driver.
Step 5 – The update driver option opens the Driver Update Utility of Windows.
From there, you must follow a few more steps appearing in the utility.
Do you see how complicated this process is? Not to mention, all of this will be done for every driver individually. No wonder driver-related issues are a real thing on Windows PCs.
To simplify the issue and make it easy for you to update the Ubotie keyboard drivers, we recommend using Advanced Driver Updater. It is one of the best driver updater tools specially designed to update drivers automatically.

How can you pair the Bluetooth if the keyboard seems is not turning on. New batteries and the battery light turns on red for few seconds and then nothing else happens.
Hi Torque,
Have you tried checking the LED indicator for the keyboard. There are high chances that the indicator is damaged which is why you are unable to identify if the device is turning ON or not. In case you are unable to turn the keyboard ON, we highly recommend you get it checked by a hardware professional as there’s not much that you can do about a damaged device.
