How To Remove PIN And Password On Windows PC

To secure your Windows 10 account, you can set up a password, add a PIN code, or create a Picture password. However, if you find passwords inconvenient and prefer not to use any, you can opt not to set up a password or disable password login altogether. Here’s how to disable PIN, Picture, and Password login on Windows 10.

Do Not Remove Your PIN or Password – Why?

  • The PIN/Password cannot be disabled from a Microsoft account. This means a local account needs to be created, offering fewer privileges and benefits than a Microsoft account.
  • Anyone can access your PC without a password or a PIN, which makes your data vulnerable.
  • Removing or bypassing the Windows 10 password will leave your system without a security layer, significantly reducing its protection. Additionally, if you have administrator rights, potential malware or unauthorized users get easy access to your system, increasing the risk of security breaches.

However, read if you are okay with taking these risks and want to remove PIN from your system.
