Lethal Company Keeps Crashing on Windows – Here’s How to Fix It

Method 1: Close Unnecessary Background Applications

Before launching the game, shut down all unnecessary browser tabs and apps. This simple practice will give you extra RAM and CPU, ensuring a smoother experience. As the load on CPU resources is minimized, the risk of the game crashing due to limited resources will be handled, and Lethal Company will run more efficiently. To do so, follow the steps below –

Step 1: Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys together to open the Task Manager.
Step 2: Under the Process tab, look for any suspicious app or program that consumes more CPU and RAM.

Step 3: Right-click on the chosen application/program and click the End task option.

Method 2: Verify the System Requirements

Compared to other games, this game requires more resources. Therefore, when Lethal Company is not launching or keeps crashing on startup, check whether your PC/laptop meets the minimum CPU, RAM, or other system requirements to run smoothly. If your system falls short or just barely meets these requirements, you might need to upgrade your CPU and RAM to ensure it runs smoothly. Here is the list of minimum system requirements for Lethal Company –

OS – Windows 10/11 (64-bit)

CPU – Intel Core i5-7400 @ 3GHz; Shadel Model 5 or above

RAM – A minimum of 4GB

Graphics Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 or above

Direct X – Version 11

Storage Space – Minimum 1 GB

Network – A high-speed broadband internet connection

If you don’t know how to check your system’s specs, press the Windows + R key together to open the RUN dialog box. Type msinfo32 and press the Enter key.

Method 3: Change Power Settings

Switch your PC/laptop’s power setting to ‘High Performance’ mode to maximize your system’s gaming ability. This adjustment will stop your machine from reserving energy, which might hamper the game’s performance. This simple tweak tells your computer to focus on delivering maximum performance, which can sometimes be the nudge Lethal Company needs to run smoothly.

Step 1: Right-click on the Battery icon from the Windows Taskbarand choose Power and Sleep settings.

Step 2: On the Power & Battery page, under the Power option click on the downfacing arrow icon in the front of Power mode and choose Best Performance.

Note: Switching to “Best/High Performance” will increase your PC’s power consumption. It’s best to use this setting only when actively gaming and switch back to “Balanced” or “Best Power Efficiency” for everyday tasks to conserve energy.
