Method 3 worked for me!! Thank you. Windows did an update yesterday 7/28/23 and my computer got dimmer and I couldn't find the brightness bar anywhere. After 2 hrs searching I uninstalled the update. The computer got bright again but the brightness bar was still missing. Now it's fixed finally.
Went to Device Manager and Display Adapter then update the graphic which I discovered had an error "!" from previous loading. Update that and viola. Your blog showed all the shortcuts and gave many facets to the problem .It;a a life and eyes saver! Thank you so much!!
