1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win64 to access the Epic games launcher executable file.

2. Right-click on EpicGamesLauncher.exe and select Run as administrator from the context menu. Click Yes if you get the User Account Control (UAC) prompt. Alternatively, type Epic GamesLauncher in the search field > right click > Run as administrator.


This way you will be able to launch the Epic Games launcher with administrator privileges. To run the game permanently as an admin, follow these steps:

1. Right-click EpicGamesLauncher.exe file > select Properties.
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Under the Settings section, check the box next to Run this program as an administrator.
4. Click Apply > Ok to save change.

This way you can make the Epic games launcher to run as admin. The same steps should be followed for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora game executable file.

Solution 3. Lower or Optimize Graphics Settings

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run window.
2. Type powercfg.cpl in the window and press the Enter key. 3. Double-click on Hide additional plans and select the radio button next to High performance.

Solution 8. Set High Priority in Task Manager

1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to launch Task Manager.

2. From the left pane select Virus & threat protection > select Manage settings under Virus & Threat Protection settings.

4. Click Add an exclusion > select File > browse to the folder where the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora execution file is saved. Add it to the list > restart the game to see if the FPS problem should now be fixed.

10.1 Epic Games Launcher

Follow the steps below and verify the game files on Epic Games Launcher:

1. Launch Epic game launcher.
2. Go to the library and look for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

1. Launch Ubisoft Connect > click the Games tab and search for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
2. Select Properties > Verify files under Local files.

3. If you get the prompt to repair files, select it. Ubisoft Connect will download and restore any missing or corrupted files.

Launch Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to see the problem should be fixed. If not, move to the next step.

Solution 11. Modify Registry Editor

If nothing has helped so far try modifying game-related settings in Windows Registry. To do so, follow these steps: However, before you do so remember to take complete backup of the registry. For this, you can use the Registry Cleaner module of Advanced System Optimizer or can perform system restore. Once that is done, follow these steps:

1. Press Windows + R to launch the Run window.
2. Type regedit and hit Enter.
3. Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore.
4. Double-click the GameDVR_Enabled.



5. Change the value data to 0 > click OK.
6. Next, go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\ApplicationManagement\AllowGameDVR.
7. Double-click value on the right-side panel.


8. Change the value data to 0 and click OK.
9. Restart the PC to apply changes and see if making these changes to the registry has helped. If not, restore your PC using system restore or restore registry backup.

Solution 12. Change GPU Settings

Change graphics card settings on the PC by following the steps below:

For Nvidia:

1. Right-click on the desktop screen > run Nvidia’s Control Panel.
2. Nvidia Control Panel > Click on Manage 3D Settings.
3. Select Program Settings > Look for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora > manually add the game if it’s not in the list. Make sure you make the following settings:

Monitor Tech: G-Sync (If available)
Maximum Pre-rendered frames: 2
Threaded optimization: On
Power Management: Prefer Maximum Performance
Texture Filtering – Quality: Performance

For AMD:

1. Right-click on the desktop screen > run AMD’s Control Panel.
2. Go to Settings > look for the game > manually add it if not there and make the following changes:

Monitor Tech: G-Sync (If available)
Maximum Pre-rendered frames: 2
Threaded optimization: On
Power Management: Prefer Maximum Performance
Texture Filtering – Quality: Performance

Solution 13. Disable Fullscreen Optimizations

To run Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora without FPS lag, disable full-screen optimization. Follow the steps below to do so:

1. Navigate to Avatar Frontiers of Pandora game directory.
2. Right-click on Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.exe file > Properties > Click on the Compatibility tab.
3. Check the box next to Disable Full-Screen Optimizations.
4. Click the Change high DPI settings button.
5. Check the box next to Override high DPI scaling behavior > Select Application > Apply > Ok to save changes.

1. Run Epic Launcher client > Go to Library > Look for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
