Fix 8: Use VPN

Playing Diablo Immortal online requires a lot of bandwidth, and most ISPs are known to throttle traffic from users who consume too much bandwidth to maintain good speeds across their entire network. Due to this, the speed slows down and is insufficient for surfing or streaming, resulting in “Diablo Immortal internet connection” issues.

The only solution to this issue is to use a VPN and re-route all your gaming traffic via a VPN server. These VPNs provide a secure network connection where the traffic is encrypted, and you can bypass all the limitations imposed by your ISP. We have been using the Systweak VPN for a couple of years. We are fully satisfied with its performance, no-logs policy, and Kill Switch, which works when a server fails, disconnecting all connections so your online activity is not compromised.

Fix 9: Add Battle.Net To Your Firewall Whitelist

As I mentioned earlier, Diablo Immortal consumes heavy bandwidth, which may result in your Windows Defender Firewall considering this game as malware hogging your bandwidth. In this case, the Firewall can block internet access, resulting in Diablo Immortal connection error. Your next step is to add Diablo Immortal to your Firewall Whitelist by following these steps:

Step 1: Press Win + R and type “Control,” followed by the Enter key to open the Control Panel.
Step 2: Choose the “View By” as Large Icons in the top right corner.

Step 3: Next, click on Windows Defender Firewall.

Step 4: Now, click “Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall” in the left panel.

Step 5: Click on the Change Settings option, locate the Battle.Net app, and check the boxes under Private and Public.

Note : If the Battle.Net app is not listed, click “Allow another app” under the list at the bottom right and click on Browse. Locate the app’s executable file and click on Open. Repeat these steps for all the Battle.Net exe files and click the checkboxes under Private and Public.
