Arch Bluetooth mouse is a well-designed, sleek, and ergonomic mouse that helps a user make the most of their PC usage without stressing a lot on their hands. The mouse is a choice of several users, especially creators, as it is wireless, small, and easy to carry. While it offers enough reasons for users to buy, recently, there have been several claims related to the Arch Bluetooth mouse not working properly.
Some shared that the issue had arisen after updating the PC, while some said they tried connecting the device to a different PC, which was not working properly. In both cases, it appears to be a driver error that needs to be fixed.
In this post, we will examine 3 ways to resolve the Arch Bluetooth mouse error on your Windows PC.
Before we begin with the fixes, here are some preliminary steps that you can take to make your Arch Bluetooth mouse work –
If you cannot connect the mouse to other PCs as well, you may need to buy a new mouse or get it fixed, as it is more of a hardware issue. However, if the error appears to be specific to your PC, use the following 3 fixes to resolve the error.
The first thing you should do is identify the issue with your PC. The best way to do this is by using the hardware troubleshooter embedded in the Windows.
Step 1 – Press Win+R to open the Run search.
Step 2 – Use the command msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and hit Enter.
Step 3 – This will open the Hardware and Device troubleshooter on your screen.
Step 4 – Click on Next to run the troubleshooter.
Step 5 – Let it find the issue. Once done, it will show you information about the error and a way to fix it. Allow the troubleshooter to fix it, and the error will be resolved.
Restart your computer after the hardware troubleshooter to check if the issue is resolved. If the Arch Bluetooth mouse is still not working, check out the next fix.
If you have recently updated your PC, and the issue has appeared on your PC, there is a high chance that the error is due to incompatible drivers. It is possible that the drivers you are currently using are not compatible with the Windows version. Now, you have two options –
Either download the latest driver update or roll back your current driver to previous stable versions. Both of these fixes require knowledge about drivers and how to update them.
For your convenience, we recommend you start using the Advanced Driver Updater. It has both features embedded in the tool, making it easy to resolve driver errors on your PC.
To update the driver –
Step 1 – Download and install the Advanced Driver Updater.
Step 2 – Use the Start Scan Now option to initiate the process.
Step 3 – Click Update All on the result screen to update the drivers.
If you want to roll back the driver to a previous version, you can use the tool’s Rollback option.
Please note that to roll back the driver, you will need its backup. Advanced Driver Updater also allows you to create a backup. Hence, we recommend you start using the app today, as the rollback is only possible if you have drivers backed up.
Usually, wireless devices are turned off by the PC to save power when they are not in use. This often creates problems for users as the device is unable to reconnect repeatedly. Hence, you should check the power management permissions using the Device Manager.
Step 1 – Press Win+R to open the Run search.
Step 2 – Use the command Devmgmt.msc to open the Device Manager.
Step 3 – In the Device Manager, spot your Arch Bluetooth mouse under Mouse and pointing devices.
Step 4 – Right-click on the device, open its properties, and navigate to the Power Management Tab.
Step 5 – Unmark the power setting that allows your PC to turn off the device.
Save the changes made and exit. You should now be able to use your Bluetooth mouse.
These fixes are highly likely to get your Arch Bluetooth mouse to work fine on your PC. If you face any issues performing these steps, please write to us in the comments section. Thanks for reading, good luck!
